A number of intellectuals participated in the celebration of "In A Parallel World"...

A seminar and a book signing event for the romantic thriller... by author Reem Al-Ansari

Dubai - June 9, 2021

Yesterday, a signing ceremony for the novel "In A Parallel World" by author Reem Al Ansari was attended by Sheikha Hind Al Qasimi, a writer and entrepreneur, known for her interest in creativity and her support for humanitarian works.

Reem Al-Ansari began the celebration with a speech about her passion for writing since childhood and her journey to achieve that dream after leaving behind fifteen years of successful work in the Middle East and Africa in the field of marketing in Multinational organizations, to pursue a long-postponed dream of writing, blogging and storytelling. Reem talked about her novel, which tells the story of two girls and a young man who live a lonely life in their own parallel worlds; until fate intervenes to shake everyone with a surprise that changes their fate forever. Reem also read sections of the book in both Arabic and English.

A number of intellectuals, businessmen and those interested in the literary movement were keen to participate in the ceremony. His Excellency Sherif El-Badawi, the Ambassador of the Egypt to the UAE and his wife Mrs. Dalia Reda, businessman Asem Galal and Dr. Iman Gad, Dean of the College of Education at the British University, were among the top attendees of the event.

Reem expressed her deep happiness with the reactions of the audience and readers. She added “I’m very happy to be here today in UAE, my second home and the land that offers opportunities to everyone, I have lived here for more than ten years.” She announced that her novel will be launched in bookstores around UAE soon. At the conclusion of the celebration, everyone got Reem’s signature on the novel, in addition to taking photos to capture this special night.
