The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has launched A Dubai Invite, a new city ambassador programme for UAE residents and citizens.
The idea is simple: if you invite family or friends from overseas to visit Dubai, you can get rewards worth more than Dh3,000.
Residents whose guests arrive in Dubai between July 20 and October 31, 2026 can enjoy benefits such as hotel stays, dining offers, attraction tickets, and lifestyle deals.
How the programme works
To join, eligible residents must register their visiting friends or relatives through the online nomination form before they arrive in Dubai.
Each resident can nominate up to five visitors at one time. More nominations can be made through separate submissions.
After the visitors arrive in Dubai, their entry will be checked automatically. The resident will then receive an email with the reward package and clear steps on how to use it.
The rewards are valid until December 31, 2026, unless stated otherwise.
Who can take part?
The programme is open to:
- UAE residents and citizens aged 18 and above
- Holders of a valid Emirates ID
- Visitors who are not UAE residents
- Guests travelling on a valid tourist visa or eligible for visa on arrival
- Visitors arriving in Dubai by air, sea, or road between July 20 and October 31, 2026
Please note that the programme does not cover visa arrangements. Visitors must arrange their own visa if needed.
Rewards worth more than Dh3,000
Each eligible nomination can unlock a reward package worth more than Dh3,000.
The offers cover:
- Hotels
- Restaurants
- Tourist attractions
- Lifestyle services
Some of the participating brands include W Dubai Mina Seyahi, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, Meliá Desert Palm, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Careem, and Hala.
Each eligible resident can receive up to three reward packages during the campaign.
Important rules to know
- Each visitor can only be nominated once during the programme. If someone else has already registered the same visitor, the later nomination will not count.
- Residents do not need to inform DET when their guests arrive, because arrivals are checked automatically.
- DET said reward emails will be sent within 72 hours after the visitor's arrival is verified, and rewards will start being issued from August 2026.
