In a departure from traditional wedding customs, Nupur Shikhare arrived at the venue in a distinctive manner. Instead of the customary grand entrance on a decorated horse ('ghodi'), Nupur, known for his fitness expertise, led a healthy and spirited 'baraat' by jogging approximately 8 kilometers from Santa Cruz to the wedding venue in Bandra. Numerous online videos captured the unconventional yet energetic approach to the arrival, showcasing Nupur and his companions joyfully jogging their way to the celebration.

Upon reaching the venue, Nupur Shikhare embraced the celebratory spirit by dancing to the vibrant beats of the dhol, receiving a heartfelt welcome from Aamir Khan himself. Reports suggest that Nupur and Ira's relationship blossomed during the Covid-19 lockdown period when Nupur was training Aamir Khan and Ira was residing with her father.
