A brand-new Al Jazira Club Stadium is coming to Zayed City—and it’s shaping up to be a game changer. UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reviewed the master plan for the 24,000-seat arena, which can later expand to 30,000.
All About Comfort and Innovation
The stadium promises fully air-conditioned seating (yes, no sweating through matches!) and a retractable pitch that can slide out of the main arena. Expect top-notch hospitality areas, plus restaurants and lounges open even when there’s no event.
Construction Starts 2026
The project will kick off in 2026 under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with completion set for three years later. Beyond just football, it’s designed to host year-round events—from sports and concerts to community celebrations.
Boosting the UAE’s Sports Vision
More than just a stadium, this project supports the UAE’s push to build world-class sports hubs that inspire youth, nurture talent, and create new opportunities for innovation and national pride.
