Visitors can get a modern Arab viewpoint on history and culture at the Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art in Education City. It serves as the home to a large number of temporary exhibitions and installations in addition to many permanent collections. At the museum's entry, you'll be greeted by the magnificent and enormous monochromatic portraits of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned and His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

H.H. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser is the wife of H.H. Father Amir. She is the Qatar Foundation's co-founder and chairwoman.

The Emir of Qatar H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is the son of H.H. Father Amir.
