Amna Al Qubaisi Becomes First Arab to Join to the Porsche Talent Pool Asia
Emirati Racer Amna Al Qubaisi Makes History as First Arab in Porsche Talent Pool Asia
Emirati racing driver Amna Al Qubaisi has achieved a groundbreaking milestone, becoming the first Arab — and the first female Arab — to join the Porsche Talent Pool Asia. The announcement marks a historic moment for both regional motorsport and gender representation in international racing.
Sharing her excitement on social media, Amna wrote, “I’m proud to finally share that I’ve been selected as the First Female Arab and the First Arab to join the Porsche Talent Pool Asia.” The news has been met with widespread celebration among motorsport enthusiasts and fans across the Middle East, many of whom have followed her trailblazing journey from karting to international single-seater competitions.
Amna’s passion for racing began early, inspired by her father, former professional driver Khaled Al Qubaisi, who competed in the Porsche Supercup. Reflecting on her journey, she said, “Watching my father race in the Porsche Supercup when I was little was where the spark first began and when I fell in love with motorsport.” Now, years later, she finds herself following in his footsteps — but carving her own distinct path in the process.
“To finally step into the same world where he once started feels incredibly special,” Amna shared. “It’s like I’ve found my way back to where it all began, but this time in my own way.” Her words capture both her personal connection to Porsche’s racing legacy and her determination to represent Arab women on the global motorsport stage.
Amna also expressed her gratitude to Carrera Cup Asia, which oversees Porsche’s regional development program.
The Porsche Talent Pool Asia is a prestigious program dedicated to nurturing emerging racing talent across the continent. By becoming part of this elite group, Amna joins an exclusive network of skilled drivers who receive professional training, mentorship, and opportunities to compete in Porsche’s high-performance racing events.
This achievement adds another milestone to Amna’s impressive career — one that already includes being the first Emirati woman to win an F4 race and the first Arab woman to compete in Formula 4 and Formula Regional categories. Her inclusion in the Porsche Talent Pool Asia not only highlights her exceptional skill but also underscores Porsche’s growing commitment to diversity and inclusion within motorsport.
