Dubai Cafe Secures Guinness World Record With AED 2.5K Coffee
Dubai’s Roasters Café Breaks Records with AED 2,500 Ultra-Luxury Coffee Experience
An Emirati specialty café in Dubai, Roasters, has officially claimed a Guinness World Record by serving the most expensive cup of coffee in the world. On 13 September 2025, the café’s flagship Boulevard Downtown Dubai location introduced a breath-taking cup priced at AED 2,500, redefining luxury in the coffee world.
This record-setting brew is not just about price—it’s about rarity, precision, and presentation. The coffee is a hand-poured V60 brew using ultra-rare Panamanian Geisha beans from the Esmeralda farm, celebrated for their delicate floral aroma and tropical fruit notes.
Served alongside the coffee were complementary treats: a Geisha-infused tiramisu, chocolate ice cream, and a special chocolate piece, all matching the exclusive profile of the coffee beans.
Every detail of the experience is crafted to delight the senses. A dedicated barista prepares the coffee tableside using a temperature-controlled kettle and the V60 dripper. The brew is presented in a handcrafted Edo Kiriko crystal glass from Japan, admired for its intricate patterns and elegance. Guests also receive flavor note cards to guide them through the tasting experience.
According to Roasters' co-founder and CEO, Konstantin Harbuz, this record celebrates both his team’s dedication and Dubai’s growing reputation as a destination for exceptional coffee experiences. The brand has grown to 11 branches across the UAE and is known for its commitment to sourcing premium beans and expert brewing techniques.
In establishing this world record, Roasters isn’t just selling an expensive cup of coffee—it’s telling a story: of craftsmanship, exclusivity, and the art behind every element from bean to cup. For coffee connoisseurs and casual visitors alike, this experience sets a new benchmark for what luxury in coffee can look like.
