Dubai Miracle Garden has temporarily closed its doors after huge crowds poured in during the Eid Al Fitr break, driven by a popular free entry offer for UAE residents.

The attraction quickly became a go-to spot for families and groups looking to enjoy the holiday, but the unexpected turnout pushed visitor numbers beyond manageable levels.

Why it closed

Officials said the temporary shutdown was necessary to “ensure the safety and comfort of our visitors,” adding an apology for the inconvenience and asking for public understanding.

The closure comes just days after the garden launched a special initiative offering free entry from March 15 to 31 for residents with a valid Emirates ID.

What led to the crowd surge

With no booking required and no cap on visitor numbers, the offer encouraged spontaneous visits—especially during the Eid rush.

Open daily from 9am to 9pm, the garden became one of the busiest spots in the city as people looked for easy, festive outings.

What happens next

Authorities said they are reviewing the situation and will provide updates on reopening, along with possible new measures to better manage crowds moving forward.

For now, visitors are advised to stay tuned before heading out.
