Dubai Parking Free on September 5 for Prophet’s Birthday Holiday

Good news for Dubai drivers—no paid parking this Friday, September 5, for the Prophet’s Birthday holiday. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said the freebie applies to all public parking except multi-level facilities and Al Khail Gate Parking (N.365).
Paid parking kicks back in on Saturday, September 6.
RTA Service Timings
The holiday also shakes up RTA’s service hours:

Customer Happiness Centres: Closed on Friday, except Smart Centres (Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, and RTA HQ) which stay open 24/7.

Dubai Metro & Tram: Both Red and Green Lines will run longer hours on Friday—5am to 1am the next day.

Public buses & marine transport: Adjusted schedules will apply during the holiday.
