Isack Hadjar Promoted to Oracle Red Bull Racing for 2026 — A New Chapter Begins

After a standout rookie campaign, Isack Hadjar has earned a coveted seat at Red Bull for the 2026 Formula 1 season. The team announced that Hadjar will partner with reigning champion Max Verstappen at Oracle Red Bull Racing, replacing Yuki Tsunoda, who will move to a reserve role.

In 2025, Hadjar drove for the junior squad Racing Bulls, where his performances caught the eye of senior team management. His season highlight came at the Dutch Grand Prix, where he secured his maiden podium — a third-place finish — affirming his raw speed, maturity, and readiness for the top tier.

Team leadership at Red Bull has praised Hadjar’s “exceptional race-craft and consistency well beyond his experience,” calling his promotion “the opportunity of a lifetime.” In his own words, Hadjar expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and excitement at the chance to learn from Verstappen and compete at the highest level.

The 2026 driver lineup reshuffle also sees young prospect Arvid Lindblad promoted to Racing Bulls alongside Liam Lawson, as Tsunoda steps back. With major technical and regulatory changes expected next season, 2026 represents a fresh start for teams — and Hadjar’s arrival at Red Bull comes at an opportune time.

Hadjar’s promotion also reflects Red Bull’s long-term strategy: investing in young talent with the potential to grow alongside their established star. If he continues on his current trajectory, fans and analysts expect him to challenge for strong results — maybe even race wins — as he settles into his new role.
