Heads-up, drivers: petrol and diesel prices in the UAE are going up this July, the UAE Fuel Price Committee confirmed on Monday, marking a return to increases after a steady June.

Here’s what you’ll be paying at the pump starting July 1:

  • Super 98: AED 2.70 per litre (up from AED 2.58)

  • Special 95: AED 2.58 per litre (up from AED 2.47)

  • E-Plus 91: AED 2.51 per litre (up from AED 2.39)

  • Diesel: AED 2.63 per litre (up from AED 2.45)

After months of minor price shifts and even cuts earlier this year, the latest adjustment reflects global oil trends and regional pricing strategies.

July’s hike follows a relatively calm June at petrol stations — a breather after back-to-back reductions in April and May. If you’ve been waiting to fill up, it might be a good idea to hit the station before the new prices roll out.

Keep an eye on monthly fuel announcements, which are typically issued by the committee in the final days of each month — they’re your best bet to plan smart, save a bit, and stay ahead of your fuel budget.
