Filipino pop culture fans now have more reason to celebrate early—Funko has officially opened its first store in Southeast Asia, right in the heart of the Mall of Asia in Manila.

The new store will welcome the public starting July 12, offering a mix of global icons and exclusive Philippine-themed collectibles.

The highlight for many local collectors? A Funko POP! figure of Jose Mari Chan, the beloved Filipino Christmas icon. Known for ushering in the holiday spirit as early as September, Chan’s miniature figure brings that familiar festive cheer—months ahead of schedule.

Local Touch: Gilas and Jollibee in the Lineup

Aside from Jose Mari Chan, the store will feature several Philippine-exclusive POP!s, including:

  • Freddy Funko sporting a Gilas Pilipinas jersey

  • The ever-popular Jollibee POP!, available in regular and glitter editions
