Dubai’s Emirati Chef’s Table: Homegrown culinary talent shines through mentorship, pop-ups & signature menus.

If you're a foodie looking for authentic, emerging flavours, The Emirati Chef’s Table in Dubai is an event you won’t want to miss. Launched by Dubai SME, part of the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), in partnership with Kitopi, this initiative spotlights local Emirati talent in the food and beverage (F&B) scene.

Running from mid-September to the end of October 2025 at Eatopi, The Emirati Chef’s Table features signature dishes from rising Emirati chefs and integrates mentorship, market exposure, and real-world culinary activation.

Five Emirati F&B entrepreneurs have been selected for the inaugural cohort. The chefs are:

  • Chef Alhassan Alfalasi, founder and chef of Inner Child Bakery
  • Mariam Massoud Al Ali, owner Little Pinch
  • Maitha, chef of by Chef Maitha
  • Mariam Badri and Sara Alfalasi, founders of Tushiz
  • Maitha and Abdulrahman, co-founders of by Twins

These chefs are not just crafting meals, but also working closely with experts in kitchen operations, business strategy, branding, and marketing to refine their concepts. The programme’s goal is to equip them with both the skills and exposure needed to turn their passion into sustainable businesses.

A key draw is that the chefs’ signature dishes will be incorporated into Kitopi’s Eatopi menu — giving them immediate visibility and a platform to reach broader audiences. Pop-ups, events and activations, including a special showcase around the UAE’s Eid Al Etihad, are part of the experience.

This initiative also aligns with Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to grow Dubai’s economy by nurturing SMEs, innovation, and local talent. The Emirati Chef’s Table reflects that mandate, reinforcing Dubai’s stature as a global culinary destination that values authenticity, creativity and entrepreneurship.

For food lovers, The Emirati Chef’s Table offers a chance to taste something new: dishes rooted in Emirati gastronomic heritage, reimagined through the lens of innovation. It’s not just about eating — it’s about storytelling, culture, and supporting homegrown chefs who may be the next names in Dubai’s food scene.

Whether you’re interested in trying one-off signature menus, exploring experimental cuisine, or supporting local culinary startups, this event is a celebration of flavour, craftsmanship, and Dubai’s evolving F&B identity.
