Limited Flights Resume in Dubai After Early-Morning Disruptions
Emirates confirms partial flight operations from 10am while cancellations continue following the incident near the airport.
Air travel in Dubai has begun to gradually resume after disruptions earlier today, with Emirates confirming that a limited number of flights would restart operations from 10am local time.

The airline announced on its website that it expects to operate a reduced schedule as authorities continue assessing the situation following the earlier incident near Dubai International Airport, one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs.
In a statement, the airline said:
“Emirates expects to operate a limited schedule after 10:00hrs Dubai local time today.”
However, the airline also confirmed that several flights scheduled for today have been cancelled as a result of the earlier disruption.
Passengers whose flights have been affected will receive notifications directly from the airline. According to Emirates, impacted travellers will be informed about reaccommodation options, including rebooking on alternative flights where possible.
The airline said:
“Unfortunately, some flights from today’s schedule have been cancelled. Affected customers will receive a cancellation notice and will be advised on reaccommodation options. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
Emirates also said it will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further updates as airport operations stabilise.
“Emirates will continue to publish updates as we assess the situation.”
Passengers planning to travel from Dubai International Airport today are advised to check the latest flight status with their airline before heading to the airport, as schedules may continue to change while normal operations are gradually restored.
