Morocco stage a dramatic comeback against Jordan to lift the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 after an action-packed final in Lusail.

Morocco won the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 title with a thrilling 3–2 victory over Jordan in the final at Lusail Stadium on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The Atlas Lions came from behind in a match filled with key moments and standout performances.

The drama kicked off early when Morocco’s Oussama Tannane scored a stunning long-range goal, taking advantage of a turnover near midfield and firing the ball past the Jordanian goalkeeper to give his team a fast start.

Jordan fought back in the second half through Ali Olwan, who equalised with a powerful header after a well-placed cross, bringing the score level and lifting his team’s energy. Later, Jordan earned a penalty following a handball, and Olwan again stepped up confidently to put his side ahead 2–1, completing his brace.

With time running out in regular time, Morocco rallied through Abderrazak Hamdallah, who pounced on a loose ball in the box after a saved attempt was kept alive. His close-range finish brought the match level and sent the final into extra time

In extra time, Morocco continued to press and sealed their victory with a decisive third goal, sealing a hard-fought comeback to lift the trophy. Jordan battled until the end, but Morocco’s experience and clinical finishing ultimately made the difference.

The win marks Morocco’s second FIFA Arab Cup title and caps a memorable tournament for the Atlas Lions, while Jordan — making their first final appearance — earned praise for their impressive run.
