Background on the Couple
Princess Iman bint Abdullah, the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, married Jameel Alexander Thermiotis on March 12, 2023, in a ceremony held at Beit Al Urdun Palace on the outskirts of Amman.
Thermiotis, born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1994, is of Greek descent. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and has pursued a career in finance in New York.
The wedding ceremony featured prominent members of the royal family. Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Iman's elder brother, walked her down the aisle. The bride wore a custom white Dior gown featuring a lace neckline and cuffs, paired with a trailing veil and a diamond tiara believed to have belonged to her grandmother, Princess Muna Al Hussein, mother of King Abdullah II.
Previous Child Welcome
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Amina, in February 2025. Queen Rania announced the birth on social media, sharing photographs of the newborn alongside other members of the royal family.
The upcoming arrival will make Amina a big sister, and adds to the growing number of grandchildren for King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.
