After earning its name as the city of luxury and opulence, with the top tourist destinations, high-end luxury brands and now real edible gold on your food too, they’ve managed to be fancy in almost every lifestyle arena here. From ice-creams to burgers, some signature dishes in well-known restaurants have been covered with real 22 karat gold as their finish touch, and Hakkasan is the latest among them.

This internationally renowned award winning restaurant made its way to Dubai and Abu Dhabi using the finest ingredients while adding their own contemporary flair to a myriad of dishes. This eclectic Chinese haven will have a special Golden Week Menu from October 22 to 25, with the Golden Duck covered in edible 22-karat gold presented as a three-course feast. 

The star dish will be covered in edible 22-karat gold, and presented as a three-course feast. First, it will be sliced and served as a round of Peking duck pancakes. Next, it will appear in a crispy duck salad. And finally, there’ll be roasted truffle duck for main course. 

The three-course Golden Duck menu starts at Dhs418, or Dhs498 with a glass of Champagne. If you wish to amp the notch you can opt for the caviar package which is priced at Dhs518 per person.

In celebration of China’s National Day, the Golden Week celebrations will run from October 20 to 25 at Hakkasan, Atlantis The Palm.
