The UAE's Ministry of Interior has set August 28th as the day for the program known as "A Day Without Accidents," in coordination with regional police forces.

On this day, efforts will be made to inform the public about traffic laws, rules, and safe driving techniques.

Head of the Federal Traffic Council at the Ministry of Interior Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, said, “Our efforts will continue consistently, especially in the field of awareness, according to the plans prepared for the year 2023. “

He added: “The choice of August 28th was made to coincide with the start of the school year, creating a preventive occasion where all sectors of society, both public and private, work towards accident-free roads and without hazards. “

In order to attain accident-free roads, the project aims to instill a sense of accountability among all community members, from institutions to individuals.
