UAE Launches 'Gallant Knight / 2' to Help Türkiye and Syria

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday ordered the dispatch of a search and rescue team and the building of a field hospital for all those impacted by the earthquake in Turkiye and Syria.
The Joint Operations Command of the UAE's Ministry of Defence has also announced the launch of the 'Gallant Knight / 2' operation following the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The operation includes the participation of the UAE Armed Forces, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, and the Emirates Red Crescent.
The relief distributions are part of the UAE's connections with Turkey and Syria and represent the UAE's humanitarian commitment to helping people in need, especially in the aftermath of natural disasters.
The UAE's worldwide humanitarian and development initiatives, as well as the nation's strategy for assisting impacted people throughout the world through relief and humanitarian projects that reduce suffering and support their development, are all highlighted by this initiative.
Furthermore, the UAE sent its sincerest condolences to the two nations and their peoples, as well as to the families of those who succumbed to this disaster.
