Yango Play Reveals Arab Stars for its Ramadan 2026 Series
Star-studded Ramadan slate: Yango Play lines up top Arab talent and its first Khaleeji original for Ramadan 2026.
Streaming platform Yango Play has unveiled a high-profile lineup of original series for Ramadan 2026, showcasing some of the Arab world’s most celebrated actors and marking its first original Khaleeji drama as part of its holy month offerings.
The roster includes six diverse dramas spanning family tales, suspense, comedy and crime, all set to debut on the first day of Ramadan, expected to begin on February 19.
Leading the slate is Manna’a, a suspense drama featuring Egyptian star Hend Sabry, who returns to Ramadan television after a five-year hiatus. The series explores the struggles of Sabry’s character, raising her children alone following her husband’s death.
Also highlighted is El Nos El Tani, which returns for a second season of historical intrigue set during World War II, and Little Steps, Yango Play’s first original Khaleeji family drama. Little Steps brings together a multinational cast from Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain and the UAE in a story of familial conflict, ambition and betrayal.
The lineup further includes Kan Ya Makan, a character-driven comedy drama led by veteran actor Maged El Kedwany, and Ein Sehreya, a mystery thriller starring Essam Omar as a surveillance camera installer ensnared in a dangerous conspiracy.
Rounding out the offerings is Fan El Harb, an Egyptian crime drama starring Youssef El Sherif. The series follows El Sherif’s character, an actor who returns home to rebuild his family’s business and honour after personal and professional setbacks.
With this slate, Yango Play continues its push into original Arabic content, aiming to capture both dramatic depth and broad audience appeal across the MENA region during one of the most competitive television seasons of the year.
