Managing passports and Emirates IDs just got a whole lot easier. The UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) now allows citizens to renew both in a single step through the UAEICP smart app. No more juggling separate forms, payments, or expiration dates.
How It Works
If your passport has expired and your Emirates ID is due within six months, the app will automatically offer the option to renew both at once. From updating personal details to final submission, the entire process is handled in one seamless transaction — saving time, effort, and headaches.
Built Around Citizen Feedback
The new system comes straight from the public’s suggestions at the Zero Bureaucracy Expo. Officials listened to frustrations about staggered renewal schedules and turned a simple service update into a fully integrated digital solution.
Family-Friendly Management
The UAEICP app also lets you manage all passports and identity documents for your family in one place. It’s a clear leap toward a simpler, smarter government experience, keeping all important documents in sync.
Part of a Bigger Vision
This development is part of the “Zero Bureaucracy” initiative, the UAE government’s ongoing effort to eliminate administrative hurdles and streamline public services for citizens.
