Restaurant Review: Ibn Al Bahr

  • Publish date: Wednesday، 22 November 2023

This Lebanese seafood joint on Palm Jumeirah is a true treat for your senses thanks to the delicious food and exquisite seaside location.

Located in Club Vista Mare, Ibn Al Bahr offers fresh seafood with oriental flavors and famous Lebanese hospitality.

Patrons can enjoy a wide variety of salads, hot and cold mezzes that include the usual vegetarian suspects like fattoush, hummus, and batata harra, to traditional pescetarian ones like tajen samak, bizri, and calamari.

For the main course, patrons can choose from a limited ala carte menu that includes sayadiyah, shrimp curry, and lobster linguini, among a few other options.

Alternatively, the recommended route would be to take a few steps towards the end of the rust, fishing paraphernalia-filled restaurant where you will find a very colorful mini fish market where you can choose your own fresh fish and your preferred cooking style (chargrilled, steamed, fried, salt-grilled are the main options).

In addition to a wide variety of fish, you can choose from other options like lobster, shrimps, octopus and mussels.

Restaurant Review: Ibn Al Bahr

As per its slogan, Ibn Al Bahr, is owned by fishermen, who overlook the quality of food dished out and are always around to receive feedback and comments and make your experience more pleasant.

Ibn Al Bahr offers a variety of seating options including indoor, outdoor terrace, and beach seating right on the sand.

The Michelin Guide-listed restaurant is licensed and also offers shisha on both the terrace and the beach.

Ibn Al Bahr is becoming more and more popular by the day and is especially busy during the good weather months as locals and tourists alike flock to enjoy the breathtaking views and tasty food at this lively outdoor location, so make sure you book in advance.
