Ring in Chinese New Year Across SHI Hospitality with Festive Menus & Live Performances

Dubai, UAE, 12 JANUARY 2025: To celebrate Chinese New Year 2026 and the Year of the Horse, MOLI, SHI, and MEI invite guests to experience a week-long celebration inspired by movement, strength, and prosperity across SHI Hospitality’s signature dining destinations.

Ring in Chinese New Year Across SHI Hospitality with Festive Menus & Live Performances

Throughout the festive period, the three venues will present exclusive Chinese New Year set menus, available for both pre-order and walk-ins, offering a celebratory dining experience rooted in tradition and elevated through each restaurant’s distinct culinary identity. Prices start from AED 400 at MOLI, AED 500 at SHI, and AED 550 at MEI (prices subject to a 7% municipality fee), with drinks charged separately. Each menu features special dishes created exclusively for the occasion, a festive dessert, and a live duck station available throughout the celebration week.

At MOLI, the Chinese New Year menu highlights bold, contemporary flavours with dishes such as duck spring rolls, turnip cake, handcrafted dim sum selections, and comforting mains including Kung Pao chicken, lamb ribs, and a Sichuan vegetable pot, finished with a celebratory dessert basket.

SHI presents a more refined interpretation, showcasing elevated classics including Har Gau, chicken siu mai, crispy prawn pancake, and signature mains such as Peking duck, Wagyu beef claypot, and red snapper with Gan Shao Yu sauce, concluding with the symbolic Yin and Yang dessert.

Meanwhile, MEI offers a modern and indulgent take on the festivities, featuring mixed mushroom salad with aged vinegar, premium dim sum, and standout mains including Peking duck for sharing, wok-seared Gulin lobster, and lemon seabass, followed by the chef’s special dessert.

The celebrations will be further brought to life on 16 and 17 February 2026, Chinese New Year’s Eve and Chinese New Year’s Day, with rotating traditional performances across all three venues. Guests can expect vibrant lion dances, graceful hand fan performances, and live Gu Zheng music, with entertainment rotating between the restaurants across both days to create a dynamic and immersive festive atmosphere.

With each SHI venue offering a distinct interpretation of Chinese cuisine — from MOLI’s vibrant contemporary energy to SHI’s refined elegance and MEI’s immersive modern setting — the group is uniquely positioned to celebrate Chinese New Year across multiple dining experiences. Together, the festive menus, live entertainment, and carefully considered culinary details capture the dynamic spirit of the Year of the Horse, inviting guests to celebrate Chinese New Year through flavour, tradition, and atmosphere across SHI Hospitality’s dining destinations.
