What is Eid Al Adha?

Eid Al Adha, or the Festival of the Sacrifice, commemorates the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command. It is a time for faith, family gatherings, communal prayers, and charitable acts.

The festival coincides with the conclusion of the Hajj pilgrimage, one of the five pillars of Islam, where millions of Muslims travel to Makkah to perform sacred rituals.

Celebrations and Festivities

The UAE is preparing for a vibrant Eid season, with a lineup of concerts, shows, and cultural events featuring renowned artists like Majid Al Mohandis, Kadim Al Sahir, and Taha Suliman. Families can also look forward to traditional gatherings, feasts, and community activities across the Emirates.
