UAE Launches AI-Powered Skills Platform for Future Jobs

The UAE has taken a significant step toward fostering a skills-driven economy with the launch of the “UAE Skills Platform”, an AI-powered national initiative designed to bridge the gap between education and the labour market. The platform, developed under the guidance of the Education, Human Development and Community Development Council, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), aims to create a unified, data-driven ecosystem that aligns academic outcomes with the evolving demands of the job market.
The launch reflects the UAE’s commitment to human capital development, a cornerstone of its broader growth agenda.
A Data-Driven Approach to Skills Development
The UAE Skills Platform is among the first integrated national platforms in the region to directly connect labour market data with the education ecosystem using Artificial Intelligence. It provides advanced analytical tools to:

- Identify priority sectors and required skills
- Support students in selecting academic and career paths
- Enable educational institutions to align programmes with market needs
- Assist employers in workforce planning and skill gap analysis
For students, the platform offers personalised guidance, helping them explore suitable specialisations, track skill development, and align their education with job market demands. The platform currently serves over 200,000 students and 200 educational institutions across the UAE, with plans to develop more than 1,700 future skills based on integrated data analysis. It features customised interfaces for students, parents, institutions, government entities, and job seekers, simplifying career exploration and decision-making.
