The Abu Dhabi Marathon is back tomorrow, and the city is set for an early-morning energy boost. Thousands of runners will take off just as the sun rises, giving the capital its annual dose of buzz before most people even open their eyes.
This is one of Abu Dhabi’s biggest fitness events, drawing pros, casual runners, and everyone in between.
A Route with Serious Views
This year’s course shows off the best of the capital. Runners will cruise along the Corniche, pass the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, skim by Capital Gate, and loop around Qasr Al Hosn. It’s basically a sightseeing tour — but with running shoes and a bib number.
