When the sun sets, the Corniche is now ready to shine. Abu Dhabi has opened a brand-new night beach where families, friends, and night owls can enjoy the cool evening breeze without spending a dirham.
What You’ll Find There
This isn’t just a stretch of sand. The beach is well-lit, has lifeguards on duty, first-aid services, plus sports courts for volleyball, football, and basketball. Safety and fun? Sorted.
Opening Hours
The Corniche Night Beach is open daily from 6am to 10pm. On weekends (Friday to Sunday), night swimmers can stay until midnight. Entry is free, and the 1,000 sqm swimming area is accessible through gates 4 to 6.
More Night Swims Around the City
Earlier this summer, Marsana Night Beach at Hudayriyat Island relaunched its evening setup with loungers, dining spots, and moonlit dips — but unlike Corniche, it comes with an entry fee (Dh50 on weekdays, Dh100 on weekends).
Meanwhile, Dubai’s night beaches at Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, and Umm Suqeim 1 keep buzzing, and Yas Waterworld just opened a huge new daytime expansion for thrill-seekers.
