Airline introduces flexible travel options for passengers affected by regional tensions.

Air India has announced flexible travel options for passengers as ongoing tensions in the Middle East continue to disrupt flight operations across several routes.

The airline confirmed that travellers with confirmed bookings made on or before February 28, 2026, for flights to and from the Middle East, the United Kingdom, and Europe can take advantage of special measures introduced to ease travel concerns.

Under the updated policy, passengers scheduled to travel up to March 10, 2026, may choose complimentary rescheduling or full refunds if their flights are cancelled due to the ongoing situation.

Air India said the move is aimed at supporting passengers whose travel plans have been affected by operational changes and airspace disruptions across parts of the region.

The airline also emphasized that it is closely monitoring the evolving situation and remains committed to prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of both passengers and crew.

Travellers are advised to regularly check the latest flight status through the airline’s official website or reach out to the airline’s 24/7 customer support centre for assistance with rescheduling, refunds, or travel updates.

The announcement comes as several airlines around the world continue to adjust schedules and introduce passenger-friendly policies in response to ongoing geopolitical developments affecting aviation routes.
