After a year filled with chaos, who doesn’t need a good laugh to forget for a bit as also laughing and happiness boosts the immune system. Therefore, Dubai Comedy Festival will be back this year!

The comedy festival will run for 10 days as it kicks off on May 13 and runs all the way through until May 22.
International and local comedians will be taking to the stage to make Dubai laugh – and we’re assured that it’s going to be “bigger and funnier than ever”.
With more than 200 nationalities in the city, Dubai Comedy Festival aims to unite everyone with one language – laughter, promising that sets will “transcend all cultures, backgrounds and ages – like good comedy should”.
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), commented, "We welcome the return of the much-awaited Dubai Comedy Festival after a triumphant 2020 edition, which saw a diverse mix of comedic talent bring communities together.
As one of the first cities in the world to resume live events under strict safety guidelines, the latest comedy carnival reaffirms the city’s position as a global events destination.
As we continue to work with our stakeholders to further enhance our events offering, we encourage residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the city’s vibrant cultural scene and celebrate the art of comedy while continuing to adhere to health and safety measures at all times".
