Dubai, UAE — As the city gears up for a grand New Year's Eve celebration, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced extended operational hours for both the Dubai Metro and Tram, ensuring seamless public transportation for revelers.

The decision, unveiled by RTA's CEO Abdullah Yousif Al Ali, aims to provide convenient options and alleviate traffic congestion during the festivities.

Extended Timings:

- Dubai Metro: The service will commence at 8 am on December 31st and continue non-stop until the end of January 1st.
  
- Dubai Tram: Operating from 9 am on December 31st, the tram services will run until 1 am on January 2nd.

Additionally, the RTA plans to deploy a fleet of 230 buses that will be accessible to the public free of charge, enhancing the accessibility of public transport during this period. Regular taxi services will also remain operational, offering alternative transportation solutions for residents and visitors.

CEO Al Ali expressed the RTA's commitment to fostering a robust transportation infrastructure in Dubai and ensuring the well-being of citizens and guests.
