Taj Express
After travelling around half the globe, Taj Express came to Dubai Opera in October 2018. It was warmly received with sold out shows, all through the five days of performances.
A show with incredible energy, mind-boggling choreography and just the right kind of beats. Slightly weak on the storyline but the dancing takes your breath away.
National Award Winner, Vaibhavi Merchant, a choreographer who needs no introduction for her contribution to the Indian Cinema along with Shruti Merchant’s impeccable direction was just right to make Bollywood come alive.
That’s not all, the magical touch of A.R Rahman who has bagged Oscar and Grammy Awards made every moment of Taj Express worthwhile.
Fun fact about the show would be that not just the desi's but so many people from different ethnicities tried to break a leg when the audience was asked to join along for some Bhangra. A perfect way to wrap up a Bollywood musical.
