The UAE will experience fair to partly cloudy weather today, with a chance of convective cloud formation—especially over the eastern regions—potentially bringing rainfall by the afternoon. This shift in weather is due to the extension of a weak surface low-pressure system from the east, coupled with an upper air low-pressure system.

Temperatures to Soar Across the Country

  • Internal Areas: Expect scorching highs between 49°C and 44°C, with lows dipping to 29°C.

  • Coastal & Island Regions: Temperatures will range from 45°C to 40°C during the day and drop to 30°C at night.

  • Mountainous Regions: Cooler compared to the rest of the country, with highs between 39°C and 34°C.

Relative humidity remains high across regions, peaking at 90% along the coasts.

Wind and Sea Conditions

Moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow across the UAE today:

  • Speeds range from 10–25 km/h, peaking at 40 km/h inland and in mountainous areas.

  • Blowing dust is expected during peak wind periods, reducing visibility in exposed regions.

  • Sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
