A weak surface low-pressure system from the East and an upper-air high-pressure extension are shaping today’s weather in the UAE, bringing partly cloudy to occasionally overcast skies.
Afternoon Clouds and Evening Fog Risk
Convective clouds may form over eastern areas by afternoon. Humidity will rise by night and early Friday morning in western coastal and internal regions, increasing the chance of fog or mist.
Blowing Dust Expected with Fresh Winds
Light to moderate winds will pick up across internal and western areas, potentially reaching up to 40 km/h. This may lead to blowing dust and sand, especially in open desert regions.
