Starting from February 1st, UAE citizens planning to travel to the UK can utilize the new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme.

This initiative eliminates the need for a pre-entry UK visa, streamlining and expediting the entire travel process for Emiratis.
The ETA system reflects four years of collaborative efforts, emphasizing the commitment to fortifying the strong bonds between the UAE and the UK, according to Mansoor Abulhoul, the UAE Ambassador to the UK.

ETA applications can be submitted through the 'UK ETA' app or on gov. uk, applicable for travel to the UK on or after February 22nd, 2024, offering a more accessible and cost-effective travel experience for UAE citizens.
