Parents Can Pre-Book Taxis for School Pick-ups and Drop-offs

Parents can now pre-book taxis in Dubai for school runs.

Parents can pre-book the taxi service 'In-Safe Hands' through the Dubai Taxi Application (DTC) for their children's pick-ups and drop-offs from school on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

This service has been offered after the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) experienced a growth in demand for the taxi service in 2021 and 2022. The service covers areas that school buses do not cover.

Director of Digitisation and Commercial Development at DTC Abdullah Ibrahim Al Meer said "the In-Safe Hands service is available on the DTC app for users of Apple and Android. Last year, the service achieved a significant increase in demand, especially during the school year, and many parents and families depend on it."
DTC provides well-trained drivers for this service. The taxi service can be booked through various service channels which include the DTC App, the Customer Happiness Centre (80088088), and e-mail InSafeHands.Mashwer@dtc.gov.ae.
