Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will auction off premium car license plates online on Monday, May 29th.

In the auction, 350 number plates will be on sale, which will include two-digit number plates of vintage vehicles and motorbikes as well as three, four, and five-digit license plates for private vehicles.
The bidding will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 29th and it will last until Friday, June 2nd.
Each bidder is required to have Traffic File opened in Dubai, deposit a security check of AED 5,000 made to the RTA, and pay a non-refundable participation fee of AED 120.
Selling license plates in the auction is subject to a 5% VAT charge.
