Big news from the top: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, has just been promoted to Lieutenant General in the UAE Armed Forces. The federal decree was issued by UAE President and Armed Forces Supreme Commander, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
This comes just a little over a year after Sheikh Hamdan was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.
Trained at One of the Best
If you didn’t know, Sheikh Hamdan’s military background is no joke. He graduated from Sandhurst, the elite Royal Military Academy in the UK, known for producing world-class military leaders.
