Wynn Al Marjan Island has announced a landmark partnership with London-based immersive theatre company Punchdrunk, bringing the renowned troupe's signature experiential storytelling to the Middle East for the first time.

The collaboration marks Punchdrunk's inaugural production in the MENA region and represents a major investment in experiential entertainment at the upcoming luxury resort, set to open in 2027.
A New Era of Immersive Entertainment
Punchdrunk, best known for its groundbreaking production Sleep No More, specializes in transforming entire buildings into detailed, walkable environments where audiences move freely through layered spaces and encounter scenes within non-linear narratives. Unlike traditional theatre setups that confine viewers to fixed seating, Punchdrunk's productions dissolve the boundary between spectator and performance space.

Inspiration spans Hollywood's golden age and 1970s Las Vegas aesthetics, with the venue designed so that every space—including foyers, corridors, and transitional zones—functions as an integrated element of the storytelling world.
