This Dubai Chef Wants People to "Take it Easy" on Delivery Drivers

Dubai chef and food host Bassam Nader took to his Instagram to document and comment on a road accident he witnessed where a delivery driver took a slide on the road while rushing to deliver a food order.
Naturally, he didn't hold back from offering his two cents on the matter.
Nader said that after he pulled over to help the driver, he asked him why he was rushing to which the driver said "A customer called and he wants food now," which Nader said broke his heart.
People chimed in inside the comments section showing support for Nader's message to be more compassionate with workers, particularly in the summer heat.
While not everyone agreed that this was a customer issue as much as issue on the food companies' list of responsibilities to address, and may be caused by promises of short delivery times.
