The Used Book Fair is back and it’s low-key awesome: bring books you’ve finished, browse other people’s picks, snag a bargain, and help a good cause while you’re at it. The fair runs from 18 March to 5 April 2026, open daily 10am–10pm.
What to expect
Tables piled with fiction, non-fiction, kids’ titles and more. Students, young professionals, families — everyone drops by to hunt for a title, trade reads, or donate books that deserve a new home. Think community book-hunt energy, not a formal sale.
Where & when — Gate Avenue
Ground Floor, Zone 1 at Gate Avenue. Open daily from 10am to 10pm, 18 March–5 April 2026. Swing by after work or make a weekend trip — perfect for quick stops or long browse sessions.
Who’s behind it — partners
The fair is staged by the venue in partnership with Dubai Culture and Dubai Public Library, with proceeds from book sales going to a charity that supports children’s education.
Why go
It’s cheap, chill, and feels good. You clear shelf space, pick up new reads, and your purchase helps support kids’ learning. Great spot to find something off-beat or to introduce a friend to a book you loved.
Quick tips
Bring gently used books that are still readable. Cash and card are usually accepted; check event pages for updates. Want the full details? Visit the venue’s event page or difc.ae.
