The UAE and Saudi Arabia share a very strong and special friendship. Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and Chairman of the UAE Media Council, recently spoke about this deep bond. He highlighted that the two nations are united by a shared history, brotherly love, and a common destiny.
In a post on social media platform X, Sheikh Abdulla explained that the wise leaders of both countries are working closely together. Their shared vision is helping to build a bright and successful future for their people and the whole region. He also mentioned that responsible media has an important duty to present this relationship truthfully and protect it.
These positive remarks followed a social media post by Turki Al Sheikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority. He shared a warm photograph of Prince Khalid bin Salman, the Saudi Defence Minister, with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court of the UAE. Al Sheikh wrote that Saudi Arabia and the UAE share "brotherly relations and a deeply rooted partnership."

Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, also commented on the special picture, writing: "The biggest story in the Gulf is captured in a single photograph."
Earlier, Dr Gargash had shared the photo along with a meaningful verse: "Spears refuse to break when they stand together; but when they are separated, they break one by one, which means that unity is the foundation of strength, while division breeds weakness."
