President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has announced a call for Salaat Al Istisqaa, a special prayer for rain, to be held at all mosques in the UAE on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 11am.  

The prayer, rooted in Islamic tradition, seeks Allah’s blessings for rain and mercy. This act follows the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), emphasizing the importance of unity and faith in times of need.  

Encouraging Participation 

The President has invited citizens and residents alike to participate in the prayer, reflecting a shared hope for abundant rain to benefit the nation. With this call, the UAE aims to strengthen community ties through collective spiritual practices.  

Residents are encouraged to head to their local mosques on the day to join the countrywide prayer, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness and faith.
