The UAE is keeping the aid coming—literally from the sky.
In a massive ongoing humanitarian effort, the United Arab Emirates has now delivered over 3,800 tonnes of critical food and relief supplies into Gaza through airdrops, working closely with Jordan.
The latest delivery marks the 61st airdrop under the Birds of Goodness initiative—part of the UAE’s broader mission dubbed ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’, designed to reach communities isolated due to blocked land access and conflict.
This comes just as international hunger monitors sound the alarm, warning that a famine scenario is unfolding in Gaza, with malnutrition spiking and humanitarian access still heavily restricted.
In addition to the airborne drops, the UAE also facilitated 20 aid trucks into Gaza on Sunday, packed with essential food supplies.
The Gulf nation has remained one of the most active players in delivering humanitarian support to Gaza, focusing on reaching the most vulnerable and hardest-hit populations in a time of deep crisis.
With continued unrest and access limitations on the ground, these sky-high deliveries are proving to be lifelines, dropping not just supplies—but hope.
