The updated speed limits for the roads in the emirate of Dubai have been announced by the authorities. The current update, made on December 20, 2022, shows that the speed limits are 60 to 120kmph.
It's essential to be aware of the posted speed limits on every route to avoid exceeding them. Your safety and the safety of other road users are assured when you stay within the speed limit.
Some basic details about Dubai's main roads are included in the list provided by Dubai Police. With the exception of Abu Dhabi, all emirates have speed buffers that allow drivers to go up to 20 km/h over the posted speed limit. The maximum speed limit is still 110 kph on the Mohamed Bin Zayed and Emirates roads, however, it is 70 km/h on a number of internal roads.
