This adjusted speed limit will be enforced starting November 20 and applies to the section spanning from the Sharjah-Dubai border to Al Garhoud Bridge.

The decision to implement this change was made collaboratively by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in conjunction with Dubai Police. This decision followed a comprehensive study that assessed various factors, including the number of entrances/exits, the proximity of intersections, the frequency of traffic accidents, and recent advancements and enhancements in the area.

The objective behind this modification is to enhance road safety and mitigate the risks associated with the specific stretch of Al Ittihad Road.

Motorists are advised to adhere to the revised speed limit and stay informed about the changes to ensure a safe and secure travel experience along this significant roadway.
