Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child!

Padukone shared the announcement via her Instagram. The post featured a card showing the due date as September 2024 and 'Deepika & Ranveer' written at the bottom of the date.

The card is bordered by blue and pink onesies, baby caps, shoes, and baby toes, therefore the gender of the baby is unknown.

Fellow Bollywood stars immediately congratulated the couple. Priyanka Chopra wrote, "Mubarak" with a heart emoji.

Chopra has worked with the star couple in 'Goliyon Ka Raasleela Ram-Leela' and 'Bajirao Mastani'.

Sonakshi Sinha, Singh's costar in 'Lootera', also congratulated the couple with the cutest comment ever saying, "Your best production yet."

The announcement confirms speculations that were going around during the BAFTAs 2024 where Padukone was a presenter and seemed to be attempting to keep her stomach covered.
