Disney to Bring its Magic to Abu Dhabi with Disney Park
The Middle East’s first Disney Park is coming to Yas Island, promising world-class rides, entertainment, and unforgettable family fun.

Exciting news for Disney fans in the UAE and beyond! A brand-new Disney Park is set to open in Abu Dhabi, marking the first Disney-themed attraction in the Middle East.
Miral will build Disneyland Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, becoming the seventh Disney Park location in the world.
The opening date of the park has not yet been revealed, but Walt Disney Parks and Resorts chairperson Josh D'Amaro told Reuters that it would take about two years to design the project and four to six years to build it.
The chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, and Disney chief executive at the W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island, Bob Iger, announced on Wednesday, May 7.
The Disney theme park will join other major attractions on the island, including Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, and Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi.
It will be the first Disney theme park to open in the Middle East. Disney has 12 parks across six destinations, including California, Florida, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
In March this year, the Disney Store opened at Yas Mall after the opening of the flagship store in Dubai Mall.
