Air Arabia Launches New European Flight Route

Sharjah-based Air Arabia has launched a major new flight route, further expanding its growing network and enhancing connectivity between the UAE and Europe.

The budget carrier recently began operating non-stop flights from Sharjah International Airport to Warsaw Modlin Airport, strengthening its presence in Central Europe and offering more travel choices for passengers in the region.

New Warsaw Modlin Service Enhances European Connectivity

Starting on December 20, 2025, Air Arabia commenced flights from Sharjah to Warsaw Modlin Airport in Poland, providing travellers with direct access to a second airport serving the Polish capital, alongside Warsaw Chopin. This new route boosts Air Arabia’s European offerings and adds to its expanding presence across the continent.

The introduction of the Warsaw Modlin service brings the airline’s weekly connection between the UAE and Poland to 24 flights, including daily flights to Warsaw Chopin and 10 weekly flights to Krakow.

Strategic Growth in Europe

According to Air Arabia’s leadership, the addition of Warsaw Modlin reflects strong demand for travel between the UAE and Central Europe, driven by tourism, business travel, and visiting friends and family. By offering flights to multiple Polish destinations, the airline claims to provide travellers with greater convenience and choice.

The expansion into Poland complements Air Arabia’s broader European network, which also includes service to cities such as Munich, Vienna, Athens, Milan Bergamo, Prague, and Krakow, marking a major step in the carrier’s route growth strategy.

Benefits for Passengers and Markets

Airport officials at Warsaw Modlin welcomed the new service as a boost to the airport’s international connectivity, opening up direct Middle Eastern access for passengers in northern Poland.

For UAE travelers, the added route means more affordable and convenient direct travel options to key European destinations, enhancing leisure travel, cultural exchanges, and business links between the two regions.

Air Arabia’s Broader Expansion

Air Arabia operates an all-Airbus fleet and has been on an aggressive growth trajectory in 2025, reporting increased revenue and passenger numbers as it continues to roll out new destinations. The airline’s expanded European footprint underscores its long-term commitment to affordable global connectivity.

With this latest route launch, Air Arabia reinforces Sharjah’s status as a key aviation hub and provides travelers with even more options for direct international travel, underscoring the airline’s evolving role in connecting the UAE with Europe and beyond.
