Acclaimed Palestinian-American comedian Amer Zahr is set to headline the Dubai Opera on October 11, 2025, as part of the Dubai Comedy Festival (DCF).
Renowned for his sharp wit, cultural storytelling, and ability to bridge East and West through humor, Zahr promises a night of laughter with a meaningful purpose.
In a heartfelt announcement, Amer revealed he will donate 100% of his show fee to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to support Palestinian refugees. “Comedy has always been my way of bringing people together,” Zahr said. “This time, I also want my performance to make a real difference for families who need it most.”
He added, “This has been a difficult time for all of us. As artists, we try to cope with events in Palestine while continuing our work. When you attend my show at Dubai Opera, you’re also helping UNRWA and the refugees in Palestine.”
