The disappearance of the Kaaba’s shadow raised the astonishment of the pilgrims on Saturday afternoon, for The Official Saudi Press Agency to report that the sun was perpendicular to the Kaaba at 12:18 PM, which means that it was lined up vertically above the Holy Kaaba at its maximum height, which reaches 90 degrees, coinciding with the location of the Kaaba is between the equator and the Tropic of Cancer, which causes the shadow of the Kaaba to completely disappear from its four sides.
